We're in full party planning mode around here. We have less than six weeks to go until Mara's birthday, and we still don't know where we're going to have it. I know, six weeks might still sound like a lof of time, but a lot of the places we've thought of are already booked through March. To top it off, we have to decide on the best date and time since this year her birthday falls the day after Easter.
Mara has attended a couple of birthday parties the past few weeks, and we now know not to have her party at a gymnastics center or an inflatible playplace because she's just not that comfortable at them. Instead, we think we might have a petting zoo at a local park. The city is OK with everything, so now we just need to check with the petting zoo people. I think Mara would love it because animals are really her thing. Now if we can all just pray for wonderful weather the weekend of her birthday. :)
