Mara's kitty

When it's time for bed or if she's not feeling well, Mara always asks for two things – her kitty and her cloths (at least 2). Mara's kitty has a very unique name – Kitty. She'll occasionally call him Puck as well since he's pretty much the same color as her real kitty Puck.


I don't remember exactly when she staked a claim to Kitty. It seems like she's had him for forever, but it's only been about a year.

Kitty actually started out as mine (a birthday present from work several years ago), and she found him in our room one day. She played with him off and on, but it wasn't until she moved to her big girl bed right before her second birthday did she actually start sleeping with him. About a month later, she caught a stomach bug and ended up giving up her pacifier. That's about the time she started insisting on sleeping with Kitty.

Now, I don't know what we will do if something ever happens to Kitty. Hopefully we won't have to worry about that.
