Kids say the darndest things...

When we were eating out last night, Mara suddenly says, "Somebody forgot to get dressed." We turned around to see that there is a guy near our table who is wearing a white sleeveless shirt (like an undershirt) with nothing over it. Apparently Mara hears that phrase at school a lot since the kids in her class are potty training and learning how to dress themselves, and she thought the guy wasn't dressed appropriately. Luckily, the guy didn't hear her.

hmmm. yes, I remember a little boy watching a woman empty her cup of ice on the parking lot at school, while we were waiting for his sister to come out to go home.

He said, loud and very clear, "It's not nice to litter."

The lady looked up startled and laughed. I was mortified but she was a mom herself so it was okay.

but kids say the clearest things not always in the best moment. The nice thing is, not the first and not the last.

That little tape recording is going all the time.

much laughter.
