Deck the Halls

We met Shari, David, and Allie at the park to enjoy some time outside.

Saturday, November 24

One of the nice things about Thanksgiving being so early this year is that we'll be able to keep the tree up for a while without looking silly. ☺ We decided to get a new angel to top our tree this year since the other one no longer lit up.

Sunday, November 25

Even though they fight from time to time, Mara and Jack really love each other. They even fell asleep tonight holding hands.

Fall Festivities

Today was a busy day. Mara had her last soccer game of the season, she went to a friend's birthday party, and then we went to her school's Fall Fun Fest.

Since it was the last game of the season, we took some team pictures before the game.

The birthday party was a "diva" party, so Mara put on a sparkly dress to go enjoy some time with her friends.

The Fall Fun Fest had a jumping thing that Mara kept begging to try each time we went to the mall, so she was thrilled to see it there. She also got her hair and face painted and got a glitter tattoo. Jack had a lot of fun too.

Happy Halloween 2012!

Jack wore his costume to school today, and I got some pictures of our Mickey Mouse with his friends and teacher.

Since Halloween was on a school night this year, we went around our own neighborhood with Mara's friend Savanna. The kids stayed out later than we intended, but they had a lot of fun.

Pumpkin Patch

We met up with Shari and Allie at a pumpkin patch today. We fed some goats, rode on a hayride, posed with pumpkins, and went through a hay bale maze.
