Unexpectedly Short Week

Monday, October 24

The fog started rolling in on our way home last night, and it was insanely thick this morning when Mara and I took Jack to school. And because today was a school holiday, the daycare was hosting a fall party for the school-aged kids, and the kids could come dressed up. So, Mara wore her costume when I took her back for lunch. The girls really liked her long braid.

It's only been two months since school started, but Mara's handwriting has really improved.

This week is Red Ribbon week, so each day has a theme. Today, the kids were supposed to wear a hat made out of recycled materials, so Mara wore the sombrero we made out of newspaper for Girl Scout Thinking Day last year.
