Jack loves Angry Birds. We picked up a couple for him this past weekend, and he doesn't want to share them with Mara. If she holds one, he'll shout, "Mine!" so we had to get her some of her own. He even uses them to help play Angry Birds Rio on my Nook.
Tuesday, October 18
Even though we haven't seen it yet, we picked up the new Pirates movies today because we really like all of the other movies. We ended up buying the 3-D version since I had a $5 off coupon for the 3-D version, making it only a couple of dollars more than the regular version. Plus, it came with this neat LEGO version of the Black Pearl.
Wednesday, October 19
Jack discovered the lockers when I was changing Mara after her swimming lesson tonight. At least I didn't have to keep chasing him around.
Thursday, October 20
We decorated pumpkins at our Girl Scout meeting tonight.
Friday, October 21
We bought Mara a new camera this week. Actually, she still has to earn it by becoming a self manager at school again, but we'll let her use it now since we are going up to Oklahoma this weekend and then to San Antonio in a couple of months. Plus, we have all of the holidays coming up. We thought she would enjoy taking pictures and movies on her own purple camera. She spent the morning at John's work, and passed the time taking pictures of herself and her toys. We also used it to take pictures of the monarch caterpillars that we found by our outside air conditioning unit.
