Show your artistic side!

Mara invited friends from school and Girl Scouts to celebrate her birthday at Michaels. Mara hasn't liked cake/cupcakes since she was about 4, but has decided this past year that they aren't too bad. So, the activity for her party was to decorate cupcakes, which later served as the cake for singing happy birthday to her. The girls made some very colorful creations using colored frosting, spray tint, and glitter sprinkles.

Jack went to Barnes & Noble with Aunt Diannie and Granddad during the party. We thought he might actually go without a nap for one day, but he passed out at the table during dinner.
