Mara's friend and fellow Girl Scout Savanna spent the day at our house. The girls had a lot of fun playing outside, and there really weren't any fights.
Wednesday, March 14
We tried to go to a jump place today with Shari and Allie, but we decided against it when we say a birthday party and three charter buses from a daycare go inside. Since it was such a nice day, we instead went to a park so the girls could play.
Thursday, March 15
We had an optional Girl Scout meeting tonight to learn a flag ceremony. The girls who showed up did a really good job, and I look forward to them doing the ceremony at a Girl Scout leadership meeting later this month and at the Brownie Bridging Ceremony in May.
Friday, March 16
Mara had another playdate today as her friend Taylor came over for the day. After playing Club Penguin on the computer for a little bit, we picked up Sonic for lunch and went to a park to play. They had quite an adventure with playing in the lake/pond water and finding several snakes in the grass.
Saturday, March 17
We ran errands with Jack while Mara went to Taylor's for another playdate. It was during Jack's naptime, and he slept in the cart while we shopped at Sam's.
Sunday, March 18
We stopped by Toys R Us today so the kids could get their birthday crowns and balloons. They had fun wearing their crowns all day. Mara also got a mini makeover when we stopped by JCPenney to pick up a few things.
