Taking a Stand

Jack has been cruising around furniture and walking while pushing his walker for a while now. This week, he finally decided it was time to start standing by himself. John said that he started pushing himself up into a standing position yesterday, but I didn't see it until tonight. He still won't let go when holding on to something, but he will now stand up from a crawl. He doesn't stay up for long, but while I was taking pictures he decided to stand up while holding his Little People airplane. He then proceeded to start trying to do a somersault. He has become a very active boy, and I think he will finally be walking in the near future.
