Jack – 2 months old

It's hard to believe that it's been two months since Jack was born, but he has grown so much. He's a very happy boy. It's easy to get a smile out of him.

He loves being on his changing table. When we lay him down to change him, he just smiles and "talks." We're try to show him that he can make funny noises if he just makes sounds when we tap his mouth. He makes noises sometimes, but usually he just grins and sticks out his tongue, licking our finger in the process.

I joke and say he has a receding hairline, but it just looks that way since his head has grown so much since he was born. I hoped that he wasn't going to have the bald look like Mara, but I think he will since his new hair is coming in blond. It seems to be growing much faster than Mara's hair did, though.

Jack wants to be on the go. He's always wiggling and squirming. He wants to sit up and has even tries scooting by kicking against things. When he's awake in his carseat, he wants to be moving and gets upset if he's not.
