A Day at the Zoo

Mara has been working hard on using her listening ears and not whining and crying – basically, not getting in trouble. She earned enough stickers to go to the zoo, so we spent today at the Fort Worth Zoo. The day was a little warm, but we all had a great time. Mara's favorite part was the elephants. She even had a close encounter with a flamingo when we were leaving.

After the zoo, we spent some time with John's side of the family. It was nice to see them and let the kids play together.
