Girl Scout recruiting night is this week, so the girls have been passing out flyers before school starts to invite other girls to it.

We bought Jack a ball like Mara's, and the kids try to balance on them while either sitting or leaning on them.
Wednesday, August 31
Since tonight is Girl Scout recruiting night, we stopped by McDonald's for dinner. John let the kids play on the playground after I left.
Thursday, September 1
Rapunzel/Tangled stuff has been hard to come by this year. We don't think they expected it to be as popular as it is. We've had Mara's Halloween costume since February because she wore it for the father/daughter dance and her birthday. We've slowly been adding some of the accessories for it, like the shoes we bought a couple of weeks ago and the braid we received from the Disney Store today.
Friday, September 2
Mara loves to get the chocolate dippers anytime we order pizza from Pizza Hut.
Saturday, August 3
Jack really likes his grandpa and usually seeks him out whenever we are visiting John's family.
Sunday, August 4
The weather finally started cooling off today, so we took the kids to the park. They enjoyed being outside swinging and sliding and riding a space ship.
