Jack – 18 months

Jack is now halfway to his second birthday, and he is a booger. (We're even working with him on saying that phrase.)

He still prefers to crawl rather than walk, but he can crawl pretty fast. So fast, it's hard to catch him sometimes. His knees are permanently darkened from all of the crawling he does. Maybe one of these days we won't have to carry him around outside. :)

He talks all the time and loves to give high fives (or "five" as he calls them). We've even started a thing where he will give me five when I drop him off at his class in daycare. He also likes to sing and dance. We frequently catch him singing along to songs on the TV or radio, and if he's not singing, he's at least moving to the music.

Jack's favorite books are Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed (and any of the related monkey books), Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You?, and Dizzy Dinos. He especially likes watching his books being read to him on my Nook Color.

He's usually a daddy's boy, but he's been wanting me more recently. He still loves to give hugs and will sometimes give us kisses.

We still can't tell exactly what color his eyes are, but I think that's because they are a green/brown hazel like mine.

It's interesting to see his personality becoming more and more apparent.
