The Return of Santaphobia?

Mara has always had a fear of Santa, even on her first Christmas. However, it doesn't look like Jack has that same fear as he sat on Santa's lap two different times in three days.

Monday, December 20

John stayed home with Jack while Mara and I went to have lunch with Shari and Allie today for a girls lunch.

Tuesday, December 21

As part of our annual tradition, we went to Frisco's Fire Safety Town. Jack sat on Santa's knee (again) without issue, and Mara tried to pin the nose on Rudolph. Both of them had fun taking their turn at driving the fire truck, and Mara also got her face painted..

Wednesday, December 22

We went to Mike & Myra's today to make cookies. The kids help me measure out the ingredients and mix the dough. Now, we have cookies to leave for Santa on Friday night.

Thursday, December 23

Lani came home with us after making cookies yesterday for a sleepover. She and Mara had a lot of fun playing together today while I tried to clean the house.
