A Christmas Celebration at SeaWorld

We made our annual trek to San Antonio and SeaWorld again. We postponed the trip a couple of weeks because other things came up the first weekend of December, and we figured it would be better anyway since Mara wouldn't have to come back and go to school the next day. We had a lot of fun going around the park, feeding the dolphins and watching the shows. Since John had knee surgery just two days before we left, we rented a motorized wheelchair for him to ride around in.

Here are our pictures from Saturday.

Jack seemed to really enjoy his first trip to SeaWorld. When we went back on Sunday, he even sat on Santa's lap. (Mara refused to do so.) We also got to see seahorses and three little baby Gentoo penguins who were only 10 days old along with the baby killer whale, Sakari, who will be celebrating her first birthday on January 7.
