John took Mara and Jack out in the wagon tonight to try to deliver more cookies. It was Jack's first time in our wagon, and he thought it was neat to ride with his sister.
Tuesday, March 1
Jack has reached a lot of milestones recently. First real crawling and cruising, then turning off lights, and now drinking out of a straw. We had been trying to get him to drink out of a straw for a while, but hadn't found the right liquid that he would think was worth it. That is, until we put grape juice in it.
Wednesday, March 2
Mara's been wanting to play out in her sandbox, so we decided to see how Jack liked it. While Mara loves the sandbox, Jack cannot stand it. He didn't want his arms or legs touching the sand. Guess we'll have to try again later.
Thursday, March 3
Mara's school had a Star Spangled Celebration assembly today in honor of the anniversary of the national anthem. We found out after the fact that she could have participated in the presenting of the colors if she had worn her Daisy uniform. At least we know for next year.
Friday, March 4
We went to Target tonight, and Mara picked out several little plants to pot this year. She's most excited about growing the tomatoes.
