We started off the day participating in a cookie booth at one of our local Tom Thumbs. While it doesn't look like it in the picture, Mara did have fun, and we sold all but a dozen boxes of cookies.

Cookie Booth & Father/Daughter Dance
John had to work, so my dad took Mara to the father/daughter dance that a troop in our Girl Scout service unit hosted. Mara wore her Rapunzel dress and shoes with her Ariel tiara (her two favorite princesses) since the theme was "Once Upon a Time." Granddad even gave her a corsage to wear. While there weren't a whole lot of slow songs that let my dad and Mara dance together, Mara had a lot of fun participating in the events, dancing with her friends, and helping me out at the snack table.
