Weather Roller Coaster

Monday, February 7

John and I spend most Monday nights watching Castle after the kids are asleep. We highly recommend the show. It's fun and not overly dramatic – a good way to end the first day of the week.

Tuesday, February 8

We have discovered that broccoli is one of Jack's favorite foods. He especially liked it with cheese just like his sister.

Wednesday, February 9

Thursday, February 10

Every year, the Girl Scouts celebrate World Thinking Day, and our troop decided to learn about Mexico as part of it. The girls made to wear at the event we're going to on February 19. We made them out of newspaper last Saturday and spray painted them, and the girls decorated them at our meeting tonight.

Friday, February 11

Saturday, February 12

We spent today with John's family. Jack liked Grandpa feeding him – especially dessert. Later, all of the kids posed for a picture together.

Sunday, February 13

Schools were closed again this past Wednesday because of snow and ice, but the temperatures were back up to 70 degrees today. We took advantage of the weather and went to the park before Mara's choir practice, and we finally figured out why Jack likes to swing so much – he likes the feel of the wind in his hair. :)
