Jack – 10 months

Jack is now 10 months old. I guess it's time to start planning his birthday party since there are only two more months until his first birthday.

We've finally decided that his eyes are definitely not blue. There was blue in them for the longest time, but now it looks like they're most likely going to be hazel—mainly green with a little brown thrown in (like mine). His hair is getting longer and still stands on end.

Speaking of standing, he's been working on that more. He can now pull himself up on furniture (when he wants to). He loves the toys he got for Christmas and has a lot of fun crawling around to each of them to play with them. He still does his army crawl but sometimes attempts to get up on his hands and knees.

Jack is definitely a serious little boy who saves his smiles for special people, but his sister can really get him laughing. He's already learning how to torment her, but you can tell that they really love each other.

He only two teeth still, but he has a mouthful waiting to bust through. In fact, you can see at least three more teeth just under the gums in the third picture below. (One on either side of the bottom ones he already has plus a molar.) A lack of teeth doesn't keep him from eating anything and everything that we eat, though.
