Mara Loves a Parade

Wednesday, November 10

We broke out our quesadilla maker for dinner tonight. I don't know if we had ever made quesadillas for Mara using the maker, but she really liked them.

John went to Braum's tonight. While he was picking up some milk and juice, he also got Mara and me a half-gallon of eggnog—our first of the season. Mara was very happy to see it.

Friday, November 12

We went to the International Gift Market at our church tonight, and Mara insisted on posing with Jack beside the pig and sheep cutouts. The kids liked going around looking at the different booths and trying food.

Today was the Frisco Community Parade, and Mara, Lani, and Lori twirled in it. It was a little cool for the girls before the parade started, but they welcomed the coolness once they started walking. Not only was it the first time for Mara to be in a parade, but it was the first time for her to get to see one as well. Jack also discovered that he really likes candy canes.

We are a few days late, but we finally took our family picture to mark Jack's 8-month birthday. Some days, it's really hard to get four people to all cooperate at the same time. :)
