How can it already be July? I guess it makes sense with as busy as we have been.
Monday, June 29
Tonight, Mara and John played on the Wii while I napped on the couch. The only problem is that Mara doesn't think she can actually use the controllers to play the games herself, so we need to figure out a way to build that confidence.
Tuesday, June 30
Mara has recently taken to showers over baths. That nice for us since showers are so much shorter. It also gives us something else to spell when talking about getting Mara clean because she now knows that b-a-t-h spells "bath." :)
Wednesday, July 1
Mara found Doxy's box (the box Doxy was in when John found her) and decided to climb in the box herself. It was a tight fit, but she made it in there.
Thursday, July 2
Mara celebrated Independence Day at school today, so she wore red, white, and blue. Actually, she wore the same outfit yesterday too because we were told that she should wear red, white, and blue on Wednesday as well. :)
Friday, July 3
We've been slacking on keeping our house clean, so I invited some people over for the Fourth of July to help kick start our cleaning. After working all day, we had made a significant dent in our family room. Now, all we need to do is keep it picked up and finish taking care of the rest of the house.
