Happy Christmas Eve!

We started off our Christmas Eve by taking Mara to her first candlelight service. She thought it was really neat, but it was hard for her to wait an hour for us to actually light the candles.

On our way home, we picked up our traditional dinner – Chinese food. This year, we went with sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken. (I know, I know, it's not very authentic Chinese food, but it's the thought that counts.)

After we ate, we opened our Christmas PJs and put them on before setting out cookies for Santa. This year, John and I even got new PJs.
