Jack – 3 months old

Jack is three months old as of today. He started school a little over two weeks ago, and he seems to be doing well. All of the caregivers love him, and it doesn't hurt that he's the only baby boy there.

He loves to chew on his fingers and is a drooling machine, which makes us wonder if he's teething already or only just discovered his hands. Jack is pretty close to laughing. We think we got a laugh out of him last week, but he hasn't done it again. I'm really looking forward to hearing him laugh.

Jack has pretty much set his own schedule. He's usually ready for a bottle and bed sometime between 9 and 10 p.m. He'll usually stay in his crib until about 4 or 5 a.m., and then he only wakes up because he wants to cuddle. He doesn't wake up for a bottle until sometime after 6 a.m., but usually it's closer to 7 or 8 a.m.
