Mara started in her new class today at school. She's no longer in the infant/toddler portion of the building, but she's in more of the preschool setting now, which is in a completely different wing at her school. In some ways, it's kind of sad to see our baby growing up, but I think she's going to be much happier. Now, she's going to be back with her friends, some of which moved up a few months ago so she hasn't seen them too much recently. Plus, they're going to be doing more "preschool" activities, like field trips, which is something Mara has really been looking forward to.
I hope she's still excited about her new class when John picks her up from school today. I guess we'll see in a couple of hours.
