Last Day of First Grade

Today was Mara's last day of first grade. Sadly, her teacher had to be out most of this week for a family emergency, so she ended the school year with a sub. While we were all disappointed that their teacher couldn't be there to say good-bye, we still had a party where the kids signed each other's visors and decorated cookies. Their teacher even left them presents – a pack of cards with instructions for the games they've been playing all year.
