Park Cleanup

Our service unit is dedicating one Saturday a month to cleaning up a city park during the school year, and today was the day for our troop to help out. The girls had fun getting into the bushes and trees since they usually aren't allowed in those parts of the parks, but they didn't really like picking up the trash. :) We found a bunch of honeysuckle, and Mara tried it for the first time. She only tried a couple but wanted more. When we were done, the girls played on the playground, and Mara showed me how she can hang upside down by her knees. She also found a huge caterpillar in the pavilion that she moved to a tree for safety.
