Colorful Easter Eggs

Monday, April 2

Mara was so excited to hear that Disney Junior was going to be its own channel starting March 23 – just in time for her birthday. We didn't actually get the channel until last Monday; however, I don't think our TV has been on another channel since. It's nice to see some of the older Disney shows like Koala Brothers and JoJo's Circus as well as some new ones that they added.

Tuesday, April 3

Today is my dad's birthday, so we celebrated it at Outback. At one point in the afternoon, I wondered if we were going to be able to go out because we had several bad storms move through the area that produced several tornadoes and had us all seeking shelter. Mara was kept at school an hour longer than usual so they could be sure the weather was clearing before they let the kids go.

Wednesday, April 4

The kids spent some time outside this evening, and I decided to pull out Mara's old tricycle to see how well it fit Jack. It's still a little big for him, but he'll be able to ride it in no time.

Thursday, April 5

Since daycare is closed tomorrow, Jack went on an Easter egg hunt in the gym using baskets they made. His teachers were nice enough to take pictures for us since we couldn't be there.

Friday, April 6

We colored Easter eggs tonight. Jack was interested at first, but he didn't stick around for long. However, Mara, Lori, Mikey, and Lani had a lot of fun.


Saturday, April 7

Today was a good day for Mara. We sent her camera in to be fixed last month, and she was happy to get it back today. She was taking pictures and movies of herself and Jack on our way to meet Shari and Allie for dinner. While at dinner, she got another birthday present since they couldn't make it to her party a couple of weeks ago.
