Today was a very busy day for us. It started with the Kids Workshop at Home Depot where Mara made a wheelbarrow planter. Next, we went to a comic book store to pick up some commic books for Free Comic Book Day. After a couple of more errands and back home to rest some, we met up with Shari and Allie for some shopping, and then John and David joined us for dinner. The afternoon and evening were interesting as we had to contend with thunderstorms and flash flooding.
Sunday, May 3
Mara wanted to spend most of today playing games from the game closet. We also pulled out the Legos and built with them. It was nice to be able to just stay home and relax with Mara today.
Monday, May 4
We made a shepherd's pie kind of meal tonight, and Mara loved licking off the beater from the mashed potatoes.
Tuesday, May 5
Tonight, John made a dish he created that is similar to a chicken alfredo. It's really good and one of our family favorites.
